Learn MorePaying your rent and service charges is a top priority, as these are considered essential (or priority) debts. Regular, on-time payments are necessary because missed payments can affect your tenancy. Please note that rent, including any service charges, is due in advance.
How to Pay:
We currently offer two convenient ways to pay your rent and service charges:
Please include your Client ID and Surname in the payment reference when making a payment. This helps us promptly and accurately credit your payment to your account.
If You Live in Supported Accommodation:
If you’re entitled to Housing Benefit, your rent will usually be paid directly to us by your local authority. However, you must ensure this benefit is in place and up-to-date. We’re here to support you with this process if needed.
Remember that Housing Benefit does not cover personal service charges, so you must pay these separately.
If You Live in General Needs Housing:
To cover your rent, you’ll need to apply for Universal Credit—Housing Element. In most cases, this payment will be made directly to you, and you’ll be responsible for forwarding it to us. However, if you fall eight weeks or more behind on rent, we may request an Alternative Payment Arrangement (APA) from the Department for Work and Pensions (DWP), which allows payments to be made directly to us.
