SIG Housing Trust was formed with a view to providing quality and affordable homes to those marginalised from the general property market.

We are a wholly independent subsidiary of the Social Interest Group and it has an independent Board of Trustees from the parent company. As well as providing general needs homes we aim to provide quality accommodation from which the Groups members can deliver first class care and support.

Our group members are experts in working with adults with the most complex and chaotic lives, enabling and empowering them to take charge of themselves, giving them the skills and resilience to live healthy and fulfilled lives.

We are ambitious, creative, and persistent in our work, ensuring high impact and outcomes are achieved in all we do.

Purpose

SIG Housing Trust operates as an independent entity, distinct from the Social Interest Group (SIG), with a primary mission to provide social housing for individuals transitioning from supported housing, prison, homelessness, and inpatient hospital care. We acquire properties through both purchasing and leasing arrangements to ensure suitable accommodations for our residents. While our residents are referred to us by other members of the Social Interest Group, SIG Housing Trust maintains autonomy in its operations and decision-making processes.

This independence allows us to tailor our housing solutions specifically to the unique needs of our residents, ensuring focused and effective support.
