Robust governance is fundamental to our mission of providing quality housing solutions to people excluded by the mainstream housing market. Our governance framework is designed to ensure transparency, accountability, and strategic oversight, aligning with our core values and objectives.
Our Board of Trustees comprises individuals with extensive experience in housing, supported housing, community development, and finance. This diverse expertise enables informed decision-making and strategic planning. For instance, our Chair, Donald Douglas, brings over 30 years of senior management experience in housing and community development and extensive governance experience. Similarly, Trustees like Stuart Jenkin and Kieran Mitchell offer decades of experience in the property industry, focusing on investment and development assets.
We adhere to rigorous governance practices to maintain the highest standards of integrity and effectiveness. Our policies and procedures are regularly reviewed to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and alignment with best practices. Our parent organisation, Social Interest Group, has a dedicated Quality & Compliance Team that embeds robust frameworks for safeguarding, whistleblowing, data protection, health and safety, and internal audits.
